Hello all!
I am now living with my host family and they are great. They've taken me in and are being very kind to me. They have given me a family and Ghanain name of Kwamen Ausu. That was pretty exciting. Although as a weird sign of respect and welcoming they won't eat dinner with me. They make me eat in the corner while they all eat together. It's a little weird! It kind of sucks to tell you the truth. But I guess that's how they do things.
And let me just tell you one more thing. Everyone coming from America living in Ghana will get the craps. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE will get it bad enough that they crap themselves. There is no exception to that rule. EVERYONE will crap themselves. Im not kidding or exaggerating. EVERYONE. Man, woman, everyone!
Take care,
Adam Martyn

I hope you get over this "fun" gift you got from entering Ghana. This too shall pass, or is pass a bad word.
I looked it up, the name Kwamen Ausu is actually a Ghanain phrase meaning, "don't eat with the white boy, he crapped himself."
Do you get to go out and see the area, or are you stuck in a classroom learning things? How many people are in the city/village you are in? What is your day like? Any wild or crazy animals near by? Any problems with being so close to Togo?
Have fun in your VERY COOL adventure. And, Take care.
Please tell me you weren't wearing your "fun jeans?" The white jeans where you like to have your shirt tucked in? In any case, it could be worse. At least you don't have a hemorrhoid - heard those could be painful!
And you thought that I would never write to you! Take that!
Take care, I hope we can talk again soon, it was nice!!
hahahahhaha
